High Strength Chemical Anchors with Undercut Cone
Heavy-Duty Chemical Anchoring System for Concrete and Structural Fixing
VALTOR supplies threaded chemical anchor rods with integral multi-cone embedded ends for demanding concrete fixing. The formed undercut-cone region works with a compatible resin system to combine chemical bonding with geometry-based mechanical engagement.
Product Overview
High Strength Chemical Anchors with Undercut Cone are heavy-duty anchoring elements with an exposed threaded connection, smooth transition shank and a machined multi-cone embedded region. Nut and washer secure the fixture after the anchor has been installed with a compatible chemical resin system.
Resin occupies the prepared annular space and bonds the anchor to the drilled concrete hole. The repeated reverse-tapered collars create additional geometry-based engagement within the cured resin system. This product is not a wedge, sleeve or drop-in anchor, and it should not be treated as an ordinary threaded rod.
Typical project use includes steel base plates, machinery foundations, structural supports, heavy brackets and infrastructure work. Procurement must define diameter, overall and thread lengths, cone geometry, resin system, concrete condition, material, surface, quantity and required project documentation; no universal performance value is implied.
Technical Specifications
Performance depends on the exact anchor geometry, resin, concrete, hole preparation, embedment, installation and project design. Do not use unverified pull-out, shear, bond, curing, temperature, hole or approval data from another anchoring system.

Material Options & Corrosion Resistance
Carbon steel supports suitable general construction and industrial applications and may be supplied zinc plated or hot-dip galvanized according to the specification. Coating selection must consider installation damage and exposure.
304 / A2 stainless steel is used for general corrosion-resistant applications, while 316 / A4 is preferred for marine, coastal and more aggressive environments. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, not corrosion-proof; the nut, washer, resin and surrounding environment must also be considered.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are high strength chemical anchors with undercut cone?
They are threaded chemical anchor rods with a shaped multi-cone embedded end used with compatible resin in prepared concrete holes.
What is the difference between normal chemical anchors and undercut chemical anchors?
Normal threaded studs primarily rely on resin bonding. An undercut-cone rod adds repeated shaped collars that create geometry-based interlock within the cured resin system.
What materials are available?
Carbon steel, 304 / A2 stainless steel and 316 / A4 stainless steel can be quoted with applicable surface options.
Can VALTOR supply custom sizes?
Yes. Diameter, length, thread, shank, end-cone geometry, material and packaging can be supplied to an agreed drawing or specification.
What information is needed for quotation?
Provide diameter, overall and thread lengths, cone geometry, embedment, resin system, concrete condition, material, quantity and required project documentation.
