Product Overview

Stainless steel hex bolts are externally threaded fasteners with a six-sided head designed for tightening and removal with standard tools. The hexagonal head provides a stable wrenching surface and reliable torque transfer, which is why hex bolts are widely used for bolted connections where secure clamping, serviceability and long-term durability are important — particularly in structural assemblies, machinery and engineered equipment.

VALTOR supplies Hex Bolts in DIN 931 partially threaded and DIN 933 fully threaded configurations. DIN 931 features an unthreaded shank section that is commonly selected for structural and shear-related connection requirements, while DIN 933 is fully threaded for applications where flexible thread engagement is preferred. Common materials include 304 and 316 stainless steel: 304 for general-purpose corrosion resistance in common industrial applications, and 316 for higher resistance to chloride and moisture exposure in marine, coastal and demanding outdoor environments. Selected grades such as 321, 310S and Duplex 2205 — a duplex grade combining improved mechanical strength with strong corrosion resistance — can be supplied according to stock and project requirements. Carbon steel options are also available in common strength classes including 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.

Customers can specify standard or customized dimensions, thread configurations, material grades and packaging requirements according to their application. VALTOR supports Hex Bolt supply for steel structure fabrication, industrial machinery assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, marine and coastal equipment, and OEM machinery projects. Drawings or samples can be provided for customized production, with inspection documentation and private-label packaging available for qualified projects.
